Hell yeah. The headphones also served as the antenna so you would wiggle the cable a bit to get better audio.
Yup! I think I got it as a goody in some Mickey Mouse Magazine in the mid-2000s.
I got mine as part of a Snap Circuits electronics set
Still plenty available, look up “FM auto scan radio” on eBay
Had one, enjoyed it for a short while but the audio quality out of the earphones is poor, and there’s nothing but classic rock, lite hits, top 100 and NPR over here so also got bored pretty quick.
This is how I discovered radio as a kid. These things are awesome. Before phones, I pods, and smaller than a Walkman. Completely underrated
Honestly i never had that thing, i had walkman (fake chinese one)
From what i experienced (borrowed from my friend because it’s so… hyped back then) that thing had terrible signal receiver + the headset is so… fuckin bad that i couldn’t describe with a proper word
Honestly i don’t know why many child back then buy this instead of chinese walkmanI got mine for free. some school prize or something
Absolutely, I got it for free selling wrapping paper for the school fundraiser
Yeah. I got frustrated pretty quickly at them. I used it maybe 20 times before I gave up with the hassle it was to find the station I wanted again.
I had several of these throughout the years, back in the day I actually liked to listen to the radio
YESSSSS!!! I had one … memory lane !!
I had one of these things, USB 2.0 20gb laptop HDD, rechargeable batteries, external HDD/mp3 player/ audio recorder. Pretty fucking cool for 2002.
Did you set fire to that abomination?
