The danger is the senior segment of users who will stay on Facebook for their “News” because they’ve stopped or never even started using actual online news sources. I know too many like that here in my country. This at the same time as the printed news sources have diminished unless held up by conservative sources, because free press funding is “evil”.

Their (the seniors/elders) political opinions might skew even more to the “paid for” side instead of what actually helps them or their progeny.
