    Of course. The money train was only there to ensure the services got enough people hooked into their ecosystem before they enshittified to try to turn bigger profits.

    Tbf I feel the game stores are just over bloated with an unnecessary amount of Indy games, many of which are terrible. I’m getting a little sick of side scroller Indy games charging almost as much as a AAA game, or all the free monthly games just being low budget titles. There are some amazing Indy games out there, but not many compared to the amount out there. Many which are made by “Indy” devs, which are little more than money farms
