I LOVE AUDIO DRAMAS!

I’d like to recommend some of my favourites to anyone that might be reading this.

  • The Magnus Archives: a horror anthology podcast with incredible narration and perfect atmosphere. It’s scary, creepy, disturbing… It hits all the right spots. It even has a plot across the 4 seasons!
  • Ghost Wax: also a horror anthology, and rather similar to The Magnus Archives. It differs in the setting, the cast, and the way the overarching story progresses. So really it’s very different, but it’s also very similar… Regardless, it’s creepy and disturbing, disconcerting in just the way you want it, while also finding the space to explore the more complex emotions of the characters.
  • Tumanbay: that’s right, historical fiction! It’s a compelling story with interesting characters. There’s interpersonal and political drama aplenty. It’s… Beautiful, and has an EXTREMELY high production value (really, it’s insane how well produced this is).
  • The Bright Sessions: science fiction isn’t usually my cup of tea, but The Bright Sessions does it very well. The sessions are very interesting, compelling really, and I love how we grow to feel a certain way about Dr. Bright as the series progresses…
