original text: Sorry everyone but Milana said she doesn’t want her images shared in a nsfw context because people were spamming her with lewd comments. That’s why she doesn’t wear revealing clothes anymore.

She’s obviously free to no longer dress provocatively, but demanding that photos she has publicly released no longer be viewed, or viewed only under certain conditions, is ridiculous.

People saying that to her, whether she was asking them to stop or not, is completely inappropriate. But we live in a world of 8 billion people, the vast majority of which have internet access. Unfortunately there will always be a few weirdos saying creepy shit.
That said, she’s a public figure who released these photos publicly. As I said, it is ridiculous to demand that these photos only be viewed when certain conditions are met. For this reason I feel it would be absurd to comply with her demands and in so doing encourage this sort of mentality.
I basically agree with you but I feel the mods/admins need to decide where to draw the line so lemmy can keep having nice things. It’s not like there’s nothing she can do about it if she finds out.
edit: I actually do support the right of people to say they shouldn’t have their images shared in a provocative context. That’s why I tried to be selective about whose images I posted based on what each celebrity has said, to the best of my knowledge. Maybe this is not the consensus around here in which case… yikes
edit: Guys have some perspective, this is an unmarked nsfw post that’s basically the top post on lemmynsfw right now while nsfw is invisible if you’re logged out. There are a lot of lurkers watching to see what happens here (and that includes the rest of the federation)

I wasn’t trying to drive you off man, you’re opinion is as valid as anyone’s. Personally I just think giving into these ridiculous demands sets a bad precedent.
You’re fine man, I just need to take a step back for a while and see how this site shapes up. Has lots of promise so I may be back
