I’d say the systematic removal of Bernie from the lineup in the 2016 election was a pretty big fucking fail, to me as a liberal.
Still better than the alternative, but one shit pile who’s smaller than the other, is still a shit pile.
Politics are multifaceted ultimately, and only ever really having 2 sides to choose from almost always leads to some pretty serious “misalignments”

He’s been a career professional for politics for a long time - civil rights namely. Real shame the DNC screwed everyone.
Well, they had a primary, and he lost. It’s the votes who screwed themselves.
