A YouGov poll conducted in the wake of the verdict found that 27% of voters said the conviction made them less likely to vote for Trump, while 26% said they were more likely to vote for him and 39% said the verdict “makes no difference” in how they’ll vote.

Somehow I just don’t believe that the 26% weren’t going to vote for him before the conviction.

I’m guessing the polling method asks if you’re more likely or less likely to vote for Trump if he’s convicted then later asks your affiliation. The article goes on to say something like 44% of democrats were less likely to vote for Trump post conviction. Were they likely to vote for Trump to begin with?

I know some Dems that recently started describing themselves as “centrist” because of the general image that Dems have. They have absolutely considered Trump in the past.

More like CINOs? Like all of their values are solidly moderate liberal values, or even slightly left of that. Any single issue they’re probably aligning with Dems. But they don’t “feel” liberal. If I were to bet on it, I’d say they’re still voting Biden.

There are a lot of these moderates/centrists that need to be reached before November.

What is it from the article that you think is pertinent to my comment? I don’t see it.
