Evo Morales is already declared as the presidential candidate of the Movement Towards Socialism (MAS-IPSP) at their party congress in Cochabamba a few months ago. The congress has also voted to expel President Luis Arce.
Is this true?
They voted to expel Arce like last year didn’t they? Also, I remember reading that the general made threats against Evo, saying he’d arrest him if he ran again, so if true, that’d be a weird thing to say your former ally lied about lol. But at the same time, Evo’s really popular so from a tactical view, appearing to ‘protect’ Evo is definitely something smart to do

Yeah I updated the main post with the reply, which I read after making the thread. That’s interesting. I wasn’t familiar with all these issues inside of MAS

Interesting. What is the case for Arce sucking, from your perspective?
I’m not Nakoichi but Arce has been pretty bad at protecting indigenous Bolivians from the mining operations leaving dangerous residue in the water.
MAS expelled Arce from the party for being a shitlib. Very lib article fair warning.
