For the most part, it is a standard view. There just isn’t enough will among the proletariat to rise up and slaughter all the rich people and take all their money and spread it out among the rest of us.

Depends on the industry, example: last mile delivery could be done by robots, but, they have a weight limit and people rob them every time they try to deliver. Manual labour jobs, a robot could plaster a wall, but it would: 1, be too expensive for the machine itself, 2, the machine can’t do more complex jobs. (Such as corners, and none rectangular shapes, they would also lack the problem solving for the random shit that would stop them from plastering the wall.) As technology advances this comment won’t age well but it will take time for robots to fill in the gaps in the labour market, leaving no jobs and money for normal people, and increased competition in the jobs that remain.

What are unions supposed to do if the standard view is replacing all workers with robots?
