We know ES6 won’t be on PlayStation, Xbox don’t want to miss that exclusive content opportunity for one of the biggest ever game launches behind what GTA6 will be

“Undecided” here meaning ‘up in the air until the Activision acquisition is done and dusted, and all those difficult questions about platform exclusives have gone away.’ No way is this coming to Playstation sadly.

God, so the time between Skyrim and ES6 will be longer than the time between Skyrim and ES1.

I’d prefer they just release more Skyrim DLC at this point.

I knew it was gonna be a while, given star field was gonna be taking up their attention. But I have to wonder why announce elder scrolls so early? We’re they just trying to fill dead air with something to keep people talking about Bethesda games?

While I would of course love a new ES game, I’m actually ok without the next ES game coming out anytime soon. As long as Starfield doesn’t disappoint, I think it will be good that the team has gotten to work on what clearly seems to be a bit of a passion project and got to go about creating a new world, lore, etc. Considering they have really only been working on Elder Scrolls / Fallout games since the early 00’s, I’m sure getting to branch out and make something new must have been a lot of fun. Just hoping it’s reflected in the finished project, otherwise, I think I’ll be more worried about the next Elder Scrolls than excited.
