I was playing Craftoria which has Modern Industrialization (MI) and Mekanism. First I thought Makenism ore processing was cool so I started on Mekanism. After a few days I managed to build a self-sustaining 4x ore processing system.

But then I ran into MI and realized that MI had Macerator, a single block device which gives me 4.5x ore processing! At first I was shocked that a not-so-expensive single block beats my entire contraption I built for days, but hey, Mekanism still has 5x ore processing. It’s much more complicated and probably not worth it, but at least MI doesn’t kill Mekanism ore processing entirely.

But wait… what? Marcerator gives you 3 RAW irons from an iron ore? But my 4x ore processing system can be used to process 3 raw irons to produce 8 iron ingots! That’s insane! I could get 8x ore processing by combining these two machines, which is pretty easy. And that means if you somehow built a 5x ore processing using Mekanism, this combination will give you 10x ore processing. WOW!

Isn’t this too good to be true? Perhaps MI is too generous with ore processing? Next time I play any modpack containing both MI and Mekanism I’ll probably get these two as soon as possible.
