Full Post:

Punchy comments from Grand Prix Drivers Association director George Russell on the huge amount of personnel change at the FIA, calling it not the most stable of places. Drivers “probably a bit fed up” as it “only seems to be going, to a degree, in the wrong direction” under Mohammed Ben Sulayem.

Post continued:

This comes after the surprise exit of race director Niels Wittich, which Ben Sulayem seems to have instigated quite suddenly. And after the GPDA called out the FIA and Ben Sulayem for the way they deal with drivers. No response from the FIA yet and I understand nothing is currently planned.

Seems like a takeover. Maybe ordered by the Emirati government. They are jealous that the Saudis have basically FIFA in their pocket, they also want a sports association under their power.

Off topic, but I can’t stand how F1 pundits overuse “punchy”.
