The fact women going crazy over the shooter is just making dating harder. Now on a third date you’re absolutely getting asked “yeah but would you sacrifice your life and take out a high profile CEO for me or are you just looking for a situationship?”

Is situationship the new word for fling?

    Guess I’m old now.

I think its just “you live your life and I’ll live mine, and we’ll squeeze bits of relationship when it’s convenient for both of us”

wouldn’t that just be ‘friends with benefits?’

Fwb doesn’t have romantic elements. The “benefits” is sex, not any other relationship stuff. The friendship doesn’t even have to be a particularly good one.

That is at least a bit more specific than a fling.

It’s used pejoratively. On the surface it’s a relationship without labels. In practice one person catches feelings and their friends use this word to convince them to find someone who will actually commit to them.

I would if I thought I had a good chance of succeeding, but having never even used a gun before I would not exactly be the most competent assassin.

It’s not hard to learn gun safety. There are private classes (in America and I assume anywhere guns are permitted)

I mean, the whole “sacrifice” idea might hold more weight if he didn’t hide and flee.

So you’re saying he didn’t hide his face and leave town? Explain to me what you think he did after killing Brian Thompson?

I wonder, when did I said that? If anything I was mocking you. He should have been even more careful and not getting caught. It was an assassination, not a righteous battle or anything. I don’t know what you’re on about.

What was he supposed to do, stand around and wait to get shot by cops? That would have been very stupid of him.

Put the gun down and hands up, and wait. He was a fool to think he was going to get away.

If you want to sacrifice then follow through when the job is done.

sounds more like he loitered around quite a bit when anyone else would be long gone
