      Manhattan is geographically tiny. Technically, they hovered it over several oil executives’ penthouses, although, perhaps, not intentionally.

      Starving seems like such a slow and distant thing, I’m not sure it packs the right punch, but “[…], burn, drown or get shot fighting their wars” is a bit long

        I don’t get it, what’s to appreciate here? They bought a thousand plastic drones from China with a thousand disposable lithium ion batteries that are bad for the environment, and had them shipped over on a cargo megaship that spews smog into the atmosphere. They’re utilizing a bunch of things that have fucked the environment to do a little light show to “raise awareness” over a city that is already full of people that don’t need to be convinced that climate change is a problem.

            Plastic recyling is absolute nonsense. And crappy drone batteries RARELY get recycled in reality. And recycling shouldn’t be the first thing you think of: REDUCE, RE-USE, RECYCLE. There’s a reason it’s third in the list, it’s the least important and effective tool.

            I’m just trying to be realistic rather than participating in pointless virtue signaling.
