Au contraire. Vegans are particularly notorious for eating stuff of which they have no idea what it is.

At this very moment I am blind tasting something from Taco Bell and it’s awesome!

You can’t expect minimum wage workers to know the details of recipes or ingredients of the food they serve.

I worked at maccies for two years. People that worked the tills were separate from people that worked the kitchen, and even then, the kitchen training is “this is how to make the burger”, there’s no training regarding the specifics or details of ingredients or recipes.

If you’re keen to try something new and you’re not sure whether it’s suitable for your diet, either dine where people are paid enough to care about individual customers or else it’s up to you to find out. Nowadays, everyone has the internet in their pocket.

Thanks! My cool new thing is to visit places, order items I don’t know and not care what I’m served. This way pork chops 🍗 and being vegan go hand in hand 🤝
