    I wish this would happen in the US just to see all the tricked out bicycles.

    I want to see a penny farthing geared to top out at 60. Cycle rickshaws with a subwoofer the size of a refrigerator. Mountain bikes with roll cages, street bikes with 40 chrome rims.

In the same way, the urban citizen produces and reproduces the city through their own daily actions. However, the the city is expropriated from the urbanite by the rich and the state. The right to the city is therefore the right to appropriate the city by and for those who make and remake it.
