I think without knowing the context, maybe we shouldn’t just jump to conclusions. Sorry to jump to Godwin’s law here so quickly, but it’s kinda directly relevant.

These are both in popular coms. It seems to me that Lemmy widely accepts messages like these, and it’s disingenuous to pretend like it’s not a popular sentiment. This is clearly a conversation we need to have.
I never once said shoot. Mod logs are public. And I never once said the poop thing TO a user as the mod suggested, my comment history is very much available. I encourage you to find me saying “shoot.”
The mod is simply interpreting things how they want to interpret them, which is something a bad mod does. No rules were broken, and that is why they are on a power trip.
