Exactly. But harming the owners of this junk car is pointless anyway. They will suffer from the consequential costs of wear and tear anyway.

I think the main point is to show them we’re not gonna tolerate anyone using his products and therefore giving him money in the first place.

Personally I don’t understand why it’s just the cybertrucks getting the hate. Muskrat was a fuckin loser way before then he just hid it by trying to act like a memelord.

The truck is just the most obvious sign of your loyalties. They were only released after Musk was already completely mask-off, are notoriously low quality and expensive, and there’s no reason to get one at all beyond signaling that you want to suck off Elon Musk. Some people bought Tesla cars years ago because they were a genuinely decent EV for the time and Musk wasn’t in all the news yet. The same cannot be said about the Cybertruck.

Mostly because they are one of the more obvious examples of expensive cars from tesla, only really bought by dumb wealthy people. The model 3 is pretty common in my area, though I doubt they are selling many new ones now, so it’s considered more like a nice camry by a lot of people.

I give a little more leway there because those cars were out before it was clear how awful Muk really is. Cybertruck owners have no excuse.

So do you think it is clever if A. the person who caused the damage even has to pay for it or B. which is much more likely… The damage is paid for by the insurance company, but premiums will rise for everyone in the long term. So the opponents pay for the damage indirectly. The owner has a bit of trouble, well. Revenues at musk increase as a result, as I said

Insurance companies do not spread risk because it reduces profit. If the Cyber truck costs more in repairs, only the premiums for Cyber Truck owners go up.
