That seems… really dumb? I mean the Vault as a concept is already incredibly stupid and speaks to broader problems at Bungie, but the fact that nobody even held onto their original work? What if they ever wanted to reuse any part of it, it’s just up in smoke?
Yes exactly… I’m not an expert but I am beyond surprised that it’s ina a unplayable state internally. Even if because of engine upgrades do you not have old ‘saves’ of said engine to go with it? Idk just wild and sad that people (myself included) can not go back and play the whole destiny story and probably never again
Wasn’t that the point of the vault? To take out old content so they could fix the spaghetti code and eventually bring it back. I have not touched D2 in years so I am not sure what they have done at this point.
