    They’re actually sort of reversing course on Gitmo. They’ve stopped building tents, mainly because there just aren’t enough people to put in them. Beyond that, the tents have neither air conditioning nor electricity, which means they fail ICE standards for detention (amazing, right?). There are currently only seventeen deportees currently at Gitmo, none of whom are housed in the tents.

    It’s all for show. That doesn’t make it any better; it’s worse in many ways.
