I’m one of the very few people who pays for YT Premium to keep it ad-free while my kids watch their shows and we tried the YT Music app and wow does it suck, especially when casting to devices in your house. You’d think that the company who pushed casting with Chromecasts and smart speakers would have a pristine streaming experience but I assure you it’s trash. Why is the volume always 50% lower vs my other apps that cast?

What’s worse is that I search for a popular podcast that’s available officially on Google podcasts. But if I search it in the podcast section of YouTube music the only results I get are bootleg reupload that give views to the wrong person. So maybe they should get their shit together before forcing me out of a workable product to an interior one. And this is from a person that pays for a YouTube premium family plan and uses it daily.
