    took my first plane ride last may long weekend, landed in TO and saw this thing parked. seems its been there awhile now

    Hah, I just drove by it on the way to the airport yesterday. It’s been a bit of a local celebrity since it got impounded last year. I imagine the cost to get it out of hock was higher than the plane is worth, airport parking is like $1/minute, which really adds up over a year!

      Yeah, I wondered how a Russian plane snuck past the embargo, but I figure it’s the big honking plane by the pickup/dropoff road.
