The woman reached out on social media when she saw a number of hobbyists on the aircrafts, similar to those used by the group’s members in the attack of a festival in Israel which killed hundreds of people when they flew over the heavily fortified border. She was reassured when a number of people replied to her post to say it was unlikely Hamas had turned its attention on her home in Armthorpe, near Doncaster.

She wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter : “Whoever thought it was funny to parasail over the village, it was in extremely poor taste. Take your twisted hatred somewhere else. There was two parachutes with engines like Hamas used at that festival, gave me a fright. Thought it was some kind of scare tactic or protest.”
