I’m just picturing that moment at the end of Dr Strangelove when Strangelove stands up from his wheelchair and praises Hitler after practically cumming talking about all the death and requirements for breeding humans… It’s actually kinda crazy how well that movie still stereotypes the ghouls in government after all these years. The only unbelievable part now days is the president being the “voice of reason” or whatever and actively vetoing escalatory measures being taken. Now days they’re all a mixture of the war criminal general and Dr Strangelove. I mean, I guess they always were and the president was written that way to be… us? Like a normal person surrounded by insanity? I dunno. That movie is stuck in my head a lot though for the past years especially.
