I’ve created an alternative (copy) version of r/cooperatives. Given the nature of Lemmy, this is a much better place for this kind of a community.
This is related to how federation works. At least one user in an instance needs to search for a community before it gets fetched. Searching for the community will bring it into the instance and it will fetch a few of the most recent posts without comments. If a user is subscribed to a community, then all of the future posts and interactions are now in-sync.
I copied them out of the original subreddit, but also removed the old links and provided some updates. It’s a really good database and it should not go down with the corporate hellhole the Reddit became.
