Elon Musk says “tweets” will become “x’s”

I guess he’s moving the servers to Texas

How about we just ignore him and call it good? He thrives on attention and like a two year old he doesn’t care if it’s good attention or bad attention. As long as we are talking about him he is happy.

I more or less view this as seeing someone doing something stupid and responding by pointing my finger and laughing. Ultimately, if Elon is foolish enough to take pride in people laughing at him I don’t really care, it’s still fun to laugh at him.

Hot damn, this is the most satisfyingly hilarious pathetic thing I’ve ever seen. Musk has got to be the absolute richest moron on the entire planet, and possibly in all of reality itself. What the absolute hell is he thinking??? Is this some kind of 5-D chess thing where he is going to somehow get a payout for tearing it down Producers-style?

He’s off and on the richest guy on the planet and he’s a moron so my take is yes, he’s the absolute richest moron on the entire planet.

I am definitely calling it ex-twitter.
I hope this catches on, I’m sure Musk will hate it.

I was thinking this or “formerly known as twitter”, and if he changes it back ‘formerly known as “formerly known as twitter”’.

Which one? He can’t seem to figure out what birth control is, so he has ten children with three women at this point.

This is akin to Joker setting a pile of cash on fire. At least the fire Joker started created some warmth.

I wonder how this will affect the roll-out of Chirpy in the new cities:skylines game. Thinking on it, the rocket launch system is already called ChripX… Paradox was ahead of the curve here.

You need to break up to be considered an ex, and most Twitter users aren’t going anywhere (or they would have 8 months ago)

Actually, I think all the reasonable people left Twitter a long time ago…it’s all bots and right wing nut jobs left there.

The evidence really doesn’t bear that out. Twitter has lost some people, but there are plenty of people still on there. What I keep on seeing is people saying that they’re leaving twitter, they might even deactivate their accounts, and then they’re back on it a little while later. It reminds me of when kathy griffin used her dead mothers account to bypass her twitter ban. They’re just addicted.

Incidentally, griffin created a mastodon account and hasn’t posted in months, and I strongly suspect her (locked down) Twitter is active.
