Fried eggs, sunny side up with “Everything Bagel” seasoning; Morningstar plant-based sausage-pancake-on-a-stick (I am so glad they make these, it takes me back to my childhood); and the sweetest damn Bartlett pear I’ve ever tasted.
I am so glad that pear isn’t an unseasoned al dente red potato.
Um, did you wander into the wrong sub? Pretty sure eggs come from animals, last I checked
Try [email protected] , you might find what you’re looking for there. I’m going to continue sharing my ovo-lacto vegetarian meals here because it’s what I enjoy, and nobody has made any attempt to set other expectations or standards for this sub.
(edited for politeness)
Lacto-ovo vegetarianism is a thing. It’s pretty common in both the Western world and in religions like Hinduism and Buddhism. Vegetarian ≠ Veganism.
I’m personally lacto-ovo, I don’t avoid egg and milk products but do avoid things made from flesh like rennet-curdled cheese, gelatin, meat, etc.
There are plenty of vegetarians who eat eggs. It is called ovo-vegetarian. Those that do not eat eggs are typically vegan or lacto-vegetarian.
