Why not develop games for more than a single ecosystem. While PSVR is cool I would rather play VR on PCVR with more games and more people.
Sony paid for the development, no one is willing to pay for the development on pcvr, hence the closure.
Man, that’s a sad news. I don’t have VR, but I have heard good things about Firewall games, so it’s sad to hear about their closure.
The talent is disappearing, they’ll move to other teams.
this isn’t a Sony studio, this is an independent studio. we’ve no idea what the people who worked there will do next and given the current state of the industry it’s difficult to think they will find another job in the game industry right now.
