Timmy saying that he likes video games was the cherry on top
Because dad still does too. My kids are gamers because thier dad (me) is a gamer. My brother and sister never played video games growing up.
So all their kids except for one doesn’t play video games. Most times you need to foster that into them.
I mean, I get your point, but in the case of this comic the kid’s dad literaly says he has
grown out of video games
That being said, I hope to play video games with my kid one day…
It’s fun watching them slowly get the motor control necessary and watch how proud they are when they beat levels.
That has to be a good feeling for you too!

Hey I am in this picture and I don’t like it!
Congrats on the wife and kids, though!
Ah yes of course. I am of course on the right side
😅🥲
I don’t think many people will actually find this funny cuz it’s real life for a large portion of the population out there, especially the US.
I think it’s more meant to be relatable
I can totally relate, did I tell you Timmy is going to start school next month?
It’s almost if… you know… memes are often funny if you can relate to them
So, Timmy, what games you playing?
Look at these loser extraordinaires growing out of video games.
Bitch is u a plant? U don’t grow out of shit except for your waistline. Frig COVID really made my butt huge 😭
I didn’t grow out of video games…I ran out of time 😭 Work, social commitments, commute. Work, mostly.
Ya I need to purposefully make time for video games.
47M still playing video games. Can confirm that most people my age think they’re a waste of time. Particularly when dating, I find women look a little nonplussed and say that their son plays games, like I should feel slightly ashamed!
OTOH, my sons both still play and all their friends think I’m super cool for playing games with them and talking about games, because their parents just try to ignore their main hobby 😂
My wife is a little this way. Doesn’t draw her in. My son and I are bonding over his first playthrough of Zelda: A Link to the Past. He is way into it and I get to come in and beat the hard parts so he thinks I’m awesome. My wife is fine with it because it’s good father/son bonding time. I expect him to start schooling me any day now.
