This is what I thought stack inserters did before I unlocked them the first time. Now that we’ll have that functionality, wouldn’t it make sense to switch the names of the stack and bulk inserters?
Oh I do hope they either switch the names or just remove the old stack inserters. The remaining use case for them now must surely be too esoteric to be needed in the base game.
They will probably be quite a lot cheaper and certainly available much earlier. The new inserter will be available on another planet.
That’s some interesting changes. No more filter inserters, and new bulk inserters.

This is gonna have a huge effect on megabasing. Combined with the quality mechanic and the elevated rails, new megabases will look nothing like the old ones.
