I heard this bird before i saw it. I actually mistook its call for some kids playing but can’t remember any more details than that. It seems similar to a Kookaburra but i don’t remember seeing a bird of this type before.

The bird was chilling so i managed to get time to manually adjust focus and exposure to get some things just right. (Spot metering was used as guidance, I also had to adjust ISO up so the shutter was around 1/500th a second)
Wouldn’t be a UPO? An unidentified perching object?
I asked ChatGPT and it said it might be a channel-billed cuckoo 🤨
