Most lawyers, yes. Heartless capitalist sociopaths. But some of us do a lot to help the helpless, to our own detriment. We give everything to the underdog — fighting these snakes.
So, I don’t take the generalisation personally, because it’s largely true, but never forget the minority of broke empathetic legal practitioners toiling away behind the scenes seeking actual justice for clients.
I mean, she is a lawyer. That’s what they do.
