Man saves woman by shooting a gun in a public place

Woman says “he is a hero, he saved my life, but maybe don’t use a gun next time, you could hurt someone by accident”

“Woman throws man who saves her under the bus, it’s her fault he was arrested for shooting, won’t same him by lying in a court and doesn’t deserve to be saved”

Geez, at least blame the system, don’t blame the woman

Ok, well I’ll say it: he couldn’t just punch the guy, or knock him down or anything? He just went straight to firing off a round

Does the person who wrote this “article” think it’s a good idea to start shooting at the slightest provocation on a crowded subway platform? Where did the round go? Did he shoot straight up or into the floor? Either way seems risky. Is it not possible, dare I say probable, that more harm than good could come from people hauling out their shootin-irons and blastin in an public transit setting?

Perhaps someone who has never heard of the use of force continuum, and has watched far too many cowboy movies thinks the “hero” of this story is terribly hard done by. I think that it should not be hard to grasp that you don’t get rewarded for “saving the lady” if you do it by putting more people in danger. In my opinion, someone who can’t understand this must be a rather simple person.

The lesson here is clear: Do not help people in New York City or any city run by Democrats.

This is exactly what I was talking about in the other thread about conservatives having no empathy.

Not only is it not the correct takeaway here (see Bongo’s comment), it is just disgusting.
