Sorry, could you please explain in more detail what your objection has to do with the specific group being discussed? Do you just dislike the group’s name, or do you have any complaint about their activities?
Internet anomity allows us to say what we really want to say, have real discussions, even in countries that limit free speech. Its massively important.

I would consider that to be a pretty big failure on their part, since anonymity and pseudonymity have always been an important protection for minority groups on the Internet.
By trying to go after hate speech? How is that a question? The only way to go after hate speech is to go after the speakers.
And as an aside, all “hate speech” is, is a dog whistle for “We want to curtail free speech”

I’m not asking whether you like their name. I’m asking if you can point to absolutely anything that they have done that merits the accusation.

To be clear, this is not a defense of this group. It’s a question. If they’ve actually opposed anonymity, I don’t want to support them.
Specifically? Nothing, but such groups have a legal insurance and don’t need my money to fight musk, and i don’t support any of these groups for the named reason.

Why
I took a quick look through their site and didn’t see anything about anonymity. The following seemed par for the course:
Facebook is failing to label half of the content from leading climate deniers as misinformation. This includes posts that call climate change a “hoax” and call it “alarmist climate propaganda”. Facebook promised to tackle climate misinformation and is failing to keep that promise.
None of these groups outright says they want to end anonymity. And this isn’t about other things besides that.
But, Shure Facebook fails at labeling shit, they cant even Label their TOS according to EU laws. Facebook is a failure as a whole. Thats no surprise to anyone.
Yeah, facebook is incompetence, not malice.
