    What were the expectations? My expectation was that Ukraine’s offensive will fail. So it pretty much meets my expectations.

      Same here, Russia has been digging in for months now. This war is starting to resemble WW1 in a lot of ways where offensives are almost prohibitively expensive in lives and equipment.

      Really wondering what’s the plan to get Russia out of Ukraine AND stop them from continuing. Someone is benefiting from the war continuing (military industrial companies obvious), otherwise Putin would have been binladen’d already

        China needs russia alive so their anti-western axis doesn’t look like a joke, the west needs a bulwark against Russia so they can focus on China.

        This is a hard war because literally everything is on the line for geopolitics.
