Like progressives have been saying for years.
People want to vote FOR something, not against something. We want hope for a better future.
Just look at how popular Bernie Sanders and his policy proposals are. People were excited to vote for him, because he was proposing to actually help the average American.
And look how far that went. How Bernie was still unable to turn out massive numbers of young people.
Itās absolutely incorrect to say that voters are blameless. Bernie had a platform that was the dream for young people, and they didnāt show up ā and I say that as someone who was 24 at the time and did vote for him in the primary.

Itās a question of prioritiesā¦ is it more important to be right or to defeat fascism - if the later is your priority then shaming people for still being wrong makes the fascism more likely.
