The group made anti-Palestinian statements and punched both victims multiple times in the face before fleeing to parts unknown. The woman sustained serious physical injury to one of her eyes and the man sustained a laceration to the face; both victims were transported by EMS to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Video released by the police showed the suspects to be a group of male youth in formal clothing.
