Decky Power Tools already offers this, and I believe there’s a desktop setting for it as well. Still very nice to have though.

    That doesn’t really work with manufacturers trying to win customers on battery life, as well as hoping that customers will buy a new device rather sooner than later.

      True, we can’t have nice things under capitalism.

      Actually, scratch that. If every single manufacturer would do the same, there would be no change for consumers, except better battery health. And the option to reduce health for more capacity.
