From this post, it seems that the Murena / e/OS people are looking into selling a CMF Phone with e/OS once the support is better, but that probably won’t be happening in 2025.
So… yeah, I too would very much appreciate a non google OS on a Nothing Phone, and it is frustrating that a reliable one doesn’t exist… but there is one that at least is being worked on.
While they have no Google services, they still have no way to back up locally, they support Google accounts, and a non encrypted or even privacy oriented cloud provider is integrated deep(er) into their image than it has to be, making me question the integrity of E as a whole
You can run e/OS without interacting with Google at all.
???
Like, you’re not wrong that e/OS is nowhere near as secure as Graphene (who only support Google hardware, lets hope there aren’t any SPECTRE or MeltDown style hardware flaws/backdoors) or Calyx…
… but you didn’t say you wanted a security focused OS… you just said you wanted a non Google OS.

The Nothing Phone (by CMF) has an e/OS image, though it is in alpha and seems to currently have some fairly serious bugs.

e OS is everything but secure

You didn’t specify a security focused image.
You just said non Google.
