Original Title: Unity on Twitter/X: “Genuinely disappointed at how our removal of the ToS has been framed across the internet. We removed it way before the pricing change was announced because the views were so low, not because we didn’t want people to see it.”
Brilliant. “We thought our ToS document was too insignificant to continue maintaining.”
The awful part is that I can absolutely see them being genuine on this one. Someone maybe looked at the stats of their repos, saw a low traffic one (or maybe multiple) and decided it (or they) didn’t need to be public anymore without looking at its (or their) merit properly.
It can obviously be farcical too, but with Hanlon’s Razor, I’m willing to concede it may just be incompetence.
