What is our instance’s status with regards to threads? Is there a simple way for a non-owner/admin to check such things for their respective instance?
With Lemmy 0.19, you can simply block instances in your profile settings. Even if you didn’t block, Threads posts wouldn’t show up on here because the Lemmy format wouldn’t handle them well. It’s mostly a concern for micro blog platforms like Mastodon.
FWIW, 0.19 only blocks communities on said instance and not their users.
