Edit: Thank you all for your input and suggestions! Linux Mint shall be my next OS! Though, I think I’ll give Pop!OS a look-see as well.

    Wait, why are you recommending VMware? With all of the drama these days I would use Virtualbox on all platforms except Linux (KVM for Linux)

      I’m unaware (ignorant) of any controversy surrounding VMWare. My past experience has been that VMWare has better performance than VirtualBox, at least with Windows as host.

        Well I’ve never tested it on Windows so you may be right. I just think its always good to stick with Foss.

        As far as controversies go I think it really only affects companies with Vsphere.
