Callum Turner has been cast in the lead role of the series adaptation of the William Gibson novel "Neuromancer" at Apple TV+, Variety has learned.

A couple months ago, it was rumored that Robert Pattinson might play Case in Apple TV+'s Neuromancer. It looks like that rumor fell through because it’s now official, Callum Turner will play Case. I’ll be honest with you, I have no idea who this guy is. But an official announcement about Neuromancer means this project is definitely moving forward!

    I can’t find the quote now so I’m sure I’m going to butcher this, but i remember seeing some interview with Gibson where he said computer nerds at the time were all laughing at him because the sheer scale of networking speeds he was talking about (up to hundreds of baud!) were physically impossible. Of course, his total ignorance of computers ended up being more accurate than what nerds at the time thought was possible.
