How about life without parole for each person that ended up dead due to him stealing all of their life savings?

“white collar” crimes are the most brutal and cruel crimes, yet punishments are always a few years or a symbolic fine. Try stealing a chewing gum, and you’ll get more jail time than the biggest “white collar” criminals.

Honestly 100 years is definitely overkill, in the same way that 5 years us definitely underkill.

Prison terms should be enough to provide an incentive not to do the crime and hopefully rehabilitate the offender, but not so much that they burden society or provide incentive to commit more crimes in hope of evading justice.

I hope this idiot is locked up long enough to make it clear that confidence schemes and gross negligence have no place in our society.

His parents are nowhere near innocent and also should be in prison.

    Sam should be hanged.
