    Yeah, it’s a symptom of the disease. More time to mountain bike I guess. Also, kind of interesting timing. Parts of the Sierra Madre are getting over 3 meters of snow as I type this.

    Used to rent a house over Martin Luther king weekend (mid January) every year since 2009. Had to stop in 2019 because every year there was less and less snow and that year it was wet.

    It sucks because I grew up skiing like many others but this is the price we pay.

    I wonder how much more money rich people will invest in trying to make up for this with all kinds of alternatives like artificial snow or cloud seeding or who the fuck knows, than they will in trying to actually solve the root problem (creating a world where they don’t get to lord over anyone, which they simply can’t abide).
