It never gets old that a former world class naval power is now being beat by a country with no navy.
I mean, this is literally the changing face of modern warfare - 80 years ago we were shocked that little planes with two people could overwhelm and sink the largest battleships in the world with crew of thousands.
The minds behind Taranto were truly forward thinkers.

The Soviet era of the 50s through the 80s saw the Soviet Navy grow to rival the US fleet (but never exceeded it).

If I had a nickel for each time Russia lost its navy during a land war I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.
