Getting whiplash thinking about how not long it has been since seeing this tone of article about the conflict in western media was completely unheard of

We were still being sold articles about Russian army collapsing and Ukraine marching to the sea of Azov just a few months ago. This is a complete 180.

They’re spinning it as Republicans did it. They didn’t fund Ukraine and that’s why and it’s all their and Trump’s fault for not being big enough cheerleaders for funding Nazis. This is also all part of a pressure program against those Republicans I’d guess. Can’t convince them to approve funding for Ukraine as easily if it’s depicted as invincible and winning so instead it’s time for smol bean Ukraine being let down and oh won’t they shed some tears and open up the US wallet to the tune of $60 billion dollars?

It’s happening even as the groundwork by the desperate and failing Biden regime is being prepared to steal Russia’s confiscated assets and money and give it to Ukraine because without some funding it’s pretty much a reality that by November chances are Ukraine is visibly done and Biden will have a big fat lost war going into the election booth.

I think that’s definitely going to be the narrative, but the problem for them is that the war is no longer popular in the west. So, people seeing that it’s actually going to end without the funding might end up having the opposite effect.
