Nichirin Swords are the main weapons used by Demon Slayers in the Demon Slayer Corps. They are forged by special sword smiths, each crafted to fit the Demon slayer’s preferences and fighting style, such as:
- a flexible whip-like sword for Mitsuri,
- a thin stinger katana for Shinobu; gaining agility and compensating power by using poisons
- a pair of dual teethed/serrated katana for Inosuke who prefers to saw through his targets instead of slicing
- a pair of cleavers connected by a chain for Tengen, who whirls it for both offence and defence

Um actually … Inosuke’s katana is not serrated by design. Inosuke’s katana was an ordinary Nichirin katana, but he modified it personally to be serrated, much to the dismay/anger of his sword smith.
