Layna Sherman Crandell from the MN Anti-War Committee explained, “Zionism requires prioritizing the majority rule of some lives over others, necessitating the dehumanization of Palestinians. Israel is not Judaism; it is fascistic terror. Matsiyahu and the Zionists cannot speak for me or for the Jewish people, and they will not silence the voices of Palestinians in their fight for freedom and liberation.”
I love to see the “they’re using civilians as human shields” argument. They’re in one of the most densely populated places in the world and aren’t allowed to leave. There isn’t really space that isn’t surrounded by civilians. There literally is not an option (except for attack into Israeli territory, which I’m sure you’re against also).
You can’t be pro-Israel if you’re defending the actions of Zionists.
What stupidity. I’m not defending their actions. I’m putting them into context. You’re saying they stated something that they didn’t start. What other options are they given? Should they peacefully let Israel genocide them and remove them from their land? I can’t say what they did was right, but I also can’t say it was wrong. We aren’t in that situation forced to make that choice, and I’m not going to sit here and act like we are.
So Palestinians fighting for their own homeland is fascist as well, by this person’s logic.
When Hamas took the hostages into Gaza and refused to take the battlefield elsewhere, were they being just as fascist?

I’m pretty sure the people trapped in the world’s largest concentration camp can’t take things far past their walls.
