Steps to reproduce:
1- open the app;
2- wait for the screen to go off for inactivity;
3- unlock the phone;
That will immediately get you back to the app, but it will be frozen.

I think it might be your phone, I couldn’t replicate the issue.
Tried replicating it, as you described, but not experiencing this issue…🤷🏻♂️
